The winter brings new challenges for me. I love the textures and spikey foliage, especially bracken. Moonglow Frost
This is one of my favourite views to paint, across the field to the reservoir in winter when the frost lies in shadows and the colour is sumptuous. Winter Sun
In the winter months, the bracken which grows on the banks of the reservoir becomes a deep red gold, when the afternoon shadows deepen the colour of the water is the most amazing blue and set against each other this produces a rich tapestry of colour.
