I am out walking on most days and this is where I get my inspiration and observations from. Throughout the seasons and at different time of day, the light changes and this can alter a familiar landscape to something new and exciting. I try to translate the atmosphere and quiet corners of fields and woods into my paintings. I want Summer Field to have a sense of calm and peacefulness that I felt on that day.
